The University of Southern Mississippi’s Art and Design Program will be on site for an opportunity to create and connect with our first Iron Pour. Preregister for a chance to make your own scratch block.
Jennifer Torres, sculpture professor and area head in the School of Performing and Visual Arts, is excited to showcase the program and the techniques of iron pouring. The event starts with a demonstration at 10 a.m. followed by a scratch block workshop and the furnace will run all day.
